Corganics to Distribute Spyroflex Wound Dressings
Dallas, TX, January 08, 2008
Corganics LP, a Dallas based consumer products company, has announced a distribution agreement with Spyroflex and their advanced treatment technology for minor sports-related wounds.
Spyroflex dressings, using moist healing technology, promote faster healing as wounds that are not allowed to dry out heal substantially faster. Additionally, they reduce pain as exposed nerve endings are covered and kept hydrated. Mike Pullon, Corganics Director of National Accounts, said the new affiliation will further advance the company as a major player in the medical and sports medicine markets. "When people think of Corganics they immediately think of innovation and quality. That tradition continues with Spyroflex", said Pullon. "We have been approached before from different manufacturers; however, we decided to wait for this opportunity. Corganics wanted the best in the industry and our patience paid off."
The three dressings being offered by Corganics include 1) Skin Savers for preventing blisters. The thin pliable structure allows freedom of movement, is water resistant, and may be worn up to 7 days. 2) Blister Dressings are specifically designed to absorb wound fluid and to cushion the blister from further painful contact and rubbing. These dressings are sterile, water resistant, and bacteria proof. 3) Abrasion Sterile Dressings are ideal for large wounds such as "strawberries and scrapes". They prevent wounds from drying out and forming a scab.
Spyroflex Intelligent Dressings are manufactured by Advanced Medical Solutions Ltd in Winsford, Cheshire, United Kingdom.
