Moist Healing
As opposed to traditional dry healing, Moist Healing allows epidermal cells to migrate and spread more freely, promoting rapid healing. The Spyroflex Dressings provide a barrier to contamination, controlling temperature and moisture levels to promote healing. With traditional dry healing, a scab forms a barrier to migration and spreading of epidermal cells and limits the rate at which healing occurs, forming a protective dry crust over the wound. These scabs can also lead to scarring.
